MDR-DS8000 - Any experiences?

Has anyone experienced the SONY MDR-DS8000 Home Cinema Cordless Headphones?

I'm looking for an alternative to the multiple speakers required in a usual AV setup.

I used to own the SONY MDR-DS5100 and while it was ok to listen to every once in a while it was not as good as listening to an average set of headphones. It tended to sound kind of thin and didn't really have any richness or bass extension. The 8000 just seems to add Dolby Pro-Logic II and it looks like the same headphones that were used in the 5100. I would say try it before you buy if you can.
