In the spirit of the "Post your photos" thread, here is the mini-me version.

Post your macro photography here.

I just got a Pentax Optio MX4. It takes pretty mediocre stills, OK movies, but absolutely fantastic Macro. In fact it has a Super Macro mode that will allow focusing down to ZERO.


I would've gotten closer, but I was afraid the grill would scratch up my lense.



Lighting is an issue when taking pics that close.

Can't post a pic of the whole thing, but it's fun to see how close I can get to the "paper".

Here's the original taken with about a 6 year old Nikon Coolpix 950 on "normal" resolution (1600x1200)...

i only have a digital camera, does clsoe up pictures counts?

HP R707. it can't do macros well at all... or at least compared to other digital cameras. i love this camera, though, despite its poor macro abilities
