A question about Sik din and Xin mini-mini angle plug

I just recieved the little white angled mini to mini plug from Xin to go with the supermacro and sik din/ipod. This may be an out there question, but the plug seems to pop out a bit from both the sik cable and or the amp end with the slightest movement.... causing it to cut out sound to the right. Is there any kind of eay fix for this..ie super glue? Just kidding. I hesitate to send it back for a replacement..but it's very annoying. Any suggestions?

Sounds like you'll probably have to send it back...

I bought one of Xin's mini-mini angled plug to also connect my Sik din to my SM, and experienced the same problem. I think it is just the way the mini-mini plug is designed

The reason I believe this is because on my other cables I have to pull them out quite a bit for the sound to cut in one of the channels. So I decided to buy a different cable until the new Sik Din gets here. Hope this helps.

Thanks noname. I heard about that new sik din the weekend after I ordered the xin angle. I may have to get that one and just live with this angle one in the meantime. A real bummer though to pay $25 for something like that then it not work right. I know xin would let me return it..but after paying $5 shipping..it's hardly worth sending it back. I use the sik din when I use the ipod in my car in order to use the line out and charger..be cool to have one to leave in the car and a new one to use with headphones..and be able to cut off the firewire part as well. Thanks for the reply.

I don't have this problem at all; my right angle connector clicks right into my amp and sik din. If it does get jostled in my bag and tugs loose, it's out of the amp; this has happened a couple times but is not at all frequent. The end that's connected to the Sik needs a firm grasp and tug to separate.

Maybe I just got a bad one. I posted on xins forum to see what he has to say. Might just have to send it back for a new one. Thanks for the reply.
