How about Epos ELS 3, Panasonic digital reciever (XR**), and a used Velodyne CHT 10 or CT100?? This is a system I would love to hear as I have never heard them but have heard good things about all of the individual components.

But let me see whats available on Audiogon..........

Reciever $140

Sub $210

speakers $225

Total $575. and from all accounts this should sound great especially for your PC

I have never heard a bad B&W speaker even though I have never owned these (I have owned the original 601 and my brother owns the CDM9 NT) and all of these were or are highly regarded components of their 'genre'

Go on Ebay and look at the Acoustic Energy SAT/SUB system for around $350.
Praised in Stereophile and all the British Hi Fi mags.

I was thinking about getting a set of Paradigm Atoms/Titans/Sub...(I like things to match

What do you think of Athenas?

Match that with a decent reciver (I was thinking a refubed Onkyo)
