I don't recall seeing the Veda at the Chicago meet.

My new toy the woody cd3k's w/ k1000 drivers arrived today, the Dynahi has no problem driving them at all. I'll post more later after they burn in a bit, the drivers are brand new from AKG.

I have tried to access the pictures in:

http://www.gurushankar.com/14255/14349.html

But I cant see them. The problem will soon be over but in the meantime where can go to see the pictures of the black version?

No doubt it's a fine product you have.

Thanks in advance,

Thanks for the pictures. As I was expecting from the alum version the black one is looking even better.

Black is very nice looking. Thats what I am using now. The silver looks better in person (pics are a bit washed out)

Thats quite true, the silver looks alot better in person than it does in my pictures. It's really all about the sound though and it does sound fantastic, keeps getting better every day.

LOL....I understand perfectly the fact that sound quality is paramount but I have to «sell it» to a girlfriend who is very critical of the look of my toys.... ( I mean audio toys... )

Guru, thank you for the PM a few weeks ago. I have a few questions for you:

Wow, the DACT attenuator adds $180 to the cost of the unit. That is about 20%! What is the difference in sound? For that matter - this is a NOOB question - but how much better is the basic stepper than the ALPS Blue Velvet?

Does the SA come with 4 selectable inputs? It doesn't seem to be stated either way. -- oh nevermind, it IS stated on gurushanker.com but not on veda-audio.com.

Thanks!
