Any interest in Stax Lambda-series, Sennheiser HE-series & Grado HP-Series specs? - Page 2

thanks for clarifying that nextcube. I wasn't sure what the different layers were.

I'll try to take a few more pictures if I have the time. although with the camera I have I don't know if I can do much better than what I already have.

Well, I think you're doing a damn fine job with the photos already. I know it's quite hard getting the camera to focus on the driver.

Examing the pictures a second time and noticing the light reflections on the protective foil, it seems that the HE-90 driver has the following layers (excluding the spacers between the layers):

1. protective foil/fabric (it looks like it's perforated but I'm not sure)
2. honeycomb electrode/stator (gold-plated crystal glass)
3. diaphragm (gold-plated polymer foil)
4. honeycomb electrode/stator (gold-plated crystal glass)
5. protective foil/fabric
