Synchrovision label & "future jazz"

Can you youngsters clue in an old fogey on acid jazz, future
(post-acid) jazz, the Synchrovision label (out of Sweden?),
a group called something that sounds like "Shtad" (Staad?),
someone called Aphex Twin?
Picked up these terms on late night radio when the sophisticated young folk listen to the latest music--might be interested in sampling some (no pun intended)

Answers to these kind of questions can almost always be found at the AMG All Music Guide. You can search by artist, album, genre etc.
An invaluable resource!
