My LDII++ came in today, yay. Are we still meeting on Saturday? =)

Guys,

Sounds like we'll have a small get-together on Saturday. MaGG & Dept of Alchemy - just give me a call that day whenever you get to the neighborhood entrance, and I'll give you the gate code.

My toys have arrived this week, too

Sounds good! I get out of work at 3, so I will give you a call sometime shortly after that

Is there still room for one more??? I'm not 100% sure yet, but I believe my plans for this weekend have fallen through and I would like to attend if it works out.

I don't have any sources portable enough to bring, but I can bring my Headfive, my SR-225s and my good ICs.

**EDIT** - I guess I could bring my PC or Turntable if someone wanted me to??? What sources are going to be there?

Ingo,

The more the merrier! I have a lot of space where people can setup their rigs (kitchen, living room/dining room, family room, even my upstairs dedicated listening room).

I hope you can come tomorrow - even just stop by to say hi. Make sure you have my street address and phone number handy.

It's up to you about your PC and TT. I don't have a vinyl rig myself. I can provide ethernet connectity for your PC.

My sources are primarily shiny discs and HTPC. I would rather not take apart my upstairs setup in case anyone is interested in listening to music or watching some video on my projector.

This equipment will be available for play:

Marantz CD63SE CDP
Teac VRDS-T1 Transport
Museatex IDAT-44 Dac
Yamaha integrated amp
Headroom microstack (from my office rig)

I won't be able to make it, unfortunately. I'm working on a final into Saturday evening. I will be around the Phoenix area mid-week next week, though. You guys are missing out on my PCDPs ;P

Add my Entech 203.2 to the list of sources. Will also bring my M-Audio Transit for optical out from my laptop.

Woot, I'm psyched...I've never heard good audio equipment before

I'm excited to hear some 5** or 6** Senn's. Does anybody have SR-225's? Those have been getting a lot of praise lately for rock/metal headphones, and I'd like to try them out as that's my choice of tunes.

Hi Guys,

The 5/12 get-together turned out great. Dept of Alchemy, MaGG, Ingo - thanks for coming over and hanging out. It was cool to hear new music and see and hear a lot of gear I have never heard before. What did I learn? - let's see... tubes rock, silent pcs can be pretty damn quiet, and I should have started DIY in college (or earlier).

Thanks for a fun afternoon guys - I'm willing to host a summer BBQ. Our neighborhood pool & grill area has two gas grills, and I love to cook. Just bring some beer and side dishes, and we're ON Mmm... tubes, beer and brats.

Later on we can firm up a date and give folks time to mark their calendars.

Let's see some pics, guys!

Can I still come over? Thankfully my 2 month stint of "work all weekends" will be over soon. Then I can resume the weekend MTB trips, LAN Parties, and occasional romp through the local mall.
