Cons: If you use volume levels that damage your hearing, you'll hear a drop in the quality of the sound.
Got these at Amazon after a long search and much reading. Sound for the price is really good. Not in the same league with my Sony Pros or the Sennheisers but surprisingly close. I have them connected with a REALLY cheap headphone amp and the combo far exceeds what I expected. Clear, roomy, dead quiet.
