I got these for free and I was still disappointed by how bad they sound.

Also the rubbery cable is distracting around the neck, but tangles less easily than others.

bad sound? for $20 i found these to be quite good. maybe i had low expectations but they really aren't all that bad.

I found the sound very muddy with way too much bass and little definition.
