I felt scammed when they broke.

Pros: Very reliable sound.

Cons: Not very sturdy, easy to break

So, I know a LOT of people may have experienced or heard about this... But I broke my hesh 2 months after I bought them... Well, hell yeah, I was desapointed... But not so much...   After continuing reading, I must say I'm from Guatemala and the warrantee doesn't apply to my country, but I gave a **** about it.   I couldn't misspend a speaker driver of 50mm and a 1.2m OFC cable... So I decided to put my soldering iron in action, and I put them into some shooting range earmuffs...   At first, the bass was drowned...   But then I remembered that every woofer and subwoofer has it's own air in-out take... so I started to make some...

Negative Reviews

Pros: Mildly comfortable

Cons: Sound was pretty bad, Easy to break, too expensive

I picked these up just because at that time these would be my first set of over ear headphones. I also liked them for their looks. Honestly I wish I hadn't bought them. Lets see why.   Price       At the time I bought them for $50. Looking back on it now I wish I hadn't payed that much. I feel like the headphones are actually worth around the $20 range. At $50 they do seem a little pricey but I guess Skullcandy thought that the buyer would justify the extra price for just looks. When you are like 10 then ya I guess they would attract you to buy them. But overall just not worth the money.   Durability     I had these for around 6 months....

Good for laptops that's about it

Pros: Cheap relative speaking

Cons: cut off highs, muffled loose bass

OK first off I had bought a pair of original Hesh headphones which were dreadfully bad sounding. They broke early and so I decided to make SkullCandy warranty them. Well they replaced mine with the Hesh 2's which were not any better sounding in my opinion. When you wearing them if you move at all you hear cracking noises from the lousy construction. They can get very uncomfortable too. Here is the problem today with many of these headphone designs. Its more about design then anything else. I guess if you use them for a play by play at a game or auto race or just as a laptop headphone they work alright. But music forget it. Sorry but SkullCandy as much as they say they are concerned about...

Pros: Ummmm, they were easy to throw away?

Cons: Unblievably uncomfortable. Weird, Muffled sound. Break Easy

When I bought these 7 years ago because I thought they looked neat. I was wrong. My tastes have changed and I am no longer 16. I payed full $50 retail, because I was an idiot.   When I bought them I realized that they sounded AWFUL. I had owned many pairs of upper end Koss (I know Koss doesn't make high end) and entry level Sony HP's and these weren't even in the same league.   Sound: Just bad, it's not worth describing highs, lows or mids, they are all equally bad. You know what I will, Bass, if you turned it up loud it would rattle your head, flabby, bleedy and everywhere. Mids Recessed, weird and muffled. Highs: There are no highs. Like they intentionally removed...

Pros: Comfy, good cord, ok noise cancelling, bag comes with them

Cons: horrendous sound

DO NOT BUY THESE!!!  I got them on sale for 30 but they arnt even worth that!  The sound quality is horrible.  I use them for travel mostly but there are many better options out there.  The only good part of these is the bag that they come with. They also look stupid on your head.

Skullcandy Hesh

Pros: They are great have great sound

Cons: The jack broke

They are great I goth them as a gift for easter but the jack broke within a year. After a while the headphones arent as comfortable. actually they are down right horrible

All Looks, No Sound quality.

Pros: Comfortable,

Cons: Feels cheap, Abysmal sound quality, generic looking design

Note; I have Not purchased or owned these headphones.   The other day I walked into Ron Jons Surf shop & while browsing the floors came across the Skullcandy demo station. What was interesting of course was the fact you could demo it using your own mp3 player, so I did that exactly. While shuffling through tracks & listening I couldnt bear the sound quality. even for $40 cans, its not worth it. The other pair I had with me was Sony MDR-V100 & AKG K314P (Fakes) Both of them sounded much better. Just funny how fake headphones sound much better then these. Sound reproduction wise, its like those headphones you get with t-shirts for free, horrible. Only thing I can give...
