Pros: Clarity and full spectrum balanced sound with no obvious flaws.

Cons: mediocre volume without an amp.

It's a miracle! The world's best headphone for $100. I can barely believe it.   I have been on a relentless search for the perfect headphone during the last two years, and in my quest i have auditioned 'everything' out there plus bought many of them... forget Grado, forget Sennheiser, forget Beyerdynamic, forget AKG, forget Sony, forget Beats By Dre, forget Audio-Technica, forget V-Moda, and definitely forget the rest...no joke, here's a short but rave review coming your way.   My previous benchmark was the Audio-Technica M50, but WOW, edging them out is these beauties, the Shure SRH-550DJ; i heard a report in the local newspaper that the Shure SRH-550DJ got jailed for...

Good headset for basic user

Pros: If you looking for upgrade from your annoying in-ear or headset

Cons: All around headset bass is a litle weak, but equalizer will fix the issue.

From my POV, I like this headset, I am using it to upgrade from my headset at work. due to sound isolation issue. This one doesn't isolate too much so that I can still know if some one really need to catch my attention.   Overall sound quality is good to me. Highs are pretty crisp. Mids are little muddy. Lows are little low. (maybe the impedance of the driver or my small amp). Anyway, equalizer will fix it and the headset can  handle it.   I am not a professional user .... sorry for the lack of description.
