Firestone ILTW
Firestone Audio are well known for their compact high quality audio products, offering a great range of solutions for the desktop audiophile, and audiophiles in general. With the release of this new DAC, Firestone Audio are offering a truly superb DAC solution that should appeal to anyone after a very highly specified DAC for the home audio system and desktop audio system alike. If you have been considering a new DAC and looked at the now aging Cambridge Audio DacMagic with it's limited USB port, you should note that the ILTW DAC offers significantly superior USB performance, and better overall sound quality. Plus it is cheaper! The ILTW DAC is their finest offering yet, with asynchronous USB capability up to 24bit/192kHz data rates, the ITLW DAC offers native playback of all current high resolution music files available today, from 16bit/44.1kHz to 24bit/192kHz. Internally the ILTW uses a Wolfson WM8740 DA conversion chip, and a Tenor TE8802 USB receiver chip, all of which results in superb sound quality, in a very compact package. A single I2S output is included for connection to future Firestone Audio products.
