RAZER Kraken Pro Circumaural Analog Gaming Headset - Black

“The Razer Kraken Pro is a gaming headset created by Razer and bears a cool product name with a CAD$110 price tag. Mine comes in green unlike the picture above however they're all the same so don't freak out. Anyways.   Build and looks: The Kraken is build with cheap plastics and (fake?) cheap leather. The construction is sturdy, which is expected. However the plastics and leathery...” --2015071

“My friend bought this from another friend of mine and i kinda used it alot by the time he got a new headphone. It gave me a very good look on what these cans can do.   Fit: Very good. Very comfortable. Can withstand long hours of wearing time.   Versions: If your looking for the same thing but with a mic the Razer Carcharias will do the trick.   Durability: It's ALL PLASTIC....” --PeeTzz74

“Just got these as an upgrade from my Philips SHG7980 headset. Straight out of the box, they sound great, no equalizer setting modification required. Just plug the headset and get immersed in movies and games. The bass is definitely what makes this headphone shine.   Club/rock/dubstep music: perfect with Asus Xonar DGX sound-card (dolby headphone: enabled) Gaming: best when used...” --b3roldan

Razer Megalodon 7.1

“For the price of these($160 when I bought them) they cannot be beat! They have a built in very powerful amp/dac which helps power these very powerful headphones, they have a bigger sound stage than dedicated open headphones as they have built in 7.1 surround sound which open headphones cannot achieve.   The clarity at this price is unrivaled, and have some of the most hard hitting base...” --skyforger

Razer Tiamat 7.1

“There are lots of bad reviews for those, however I must say that after properly calibrating them through an equilizer the muddy, cheap sound becomes much much better. In 7.1 mode for playing music those are absolutely horrendous, however if you use bass redirection and set crossover frequency at about 70hz they become quite nice. And if you use 2.0 mode you will need to play with the equilizer...” --yoceto

“ its good if you only want to use for game audio and not game chat. I like it myself i use it for xbox 360, but is also compatible with pc for pc gaming. I believe they can work for ps3 but are not chat compatible and that is because they have to be plugged in to a xbox 360 controller in order to use game chat on xbox 360, but does not apply to pc that's just how voip works on a xbox 360. “So, first of all you might be wondering why even bother reviewing a headphone that nobody knows about, has ever heard of, and most likely will never own or see in real life? Simply put, I think that this headphone deserves it. There are many of the 70's Pioneer clones, so it's good to give people an idea about them if there is any interest.   Pros: - Aesthetics and construction are...” --GREQ
