Impressions of the Tralucent's "Uber" Cable
Pros: Challenges the IEM to the best of it's ability. On the 1Plus2, the soundstage and headroom massive, incredible detail but not fatiguing
Cons: Very expensive (call to price level), Fragile
Pros: Challenges the IEM to the best of it's ability. On the 1Plus2, the soundstage and headroom massive, incredible detail but not fatiguing
Cons: Very expensive (call to price level), Fragile

Pros: Beautiful construction, soft but sturdy, possible changes to audio
Cons: Mine has a cubed right angle jack that doesn't work with my Nexus 4 case; want to reterminate with the ViaBlu when I get the cash

Pros: Ergonomics, fit & finish, value
Cons: Other similarly priced cables can offer better SQ improvements, although not with the same great ergonomics.

Pros: Looks AMAZING, improves sound
Cons: None

“ Overview After-market cables are something of an enigma. There are many companies offering many different cables each offering their own distinct sonic flavors. I must admit, I was once something of a cable agnostic. Many reviews I had read flatly stated they heard no difference in their after-market cables and/or the only reasons to even get one are...” --Darkbeat
“ Thanks to WNBC for his review, I am in complete agreement with most of the points he makes, however I will put my experience in my own words. Trevor, who runs Norse is completely professional to deal with, as well as clearly dedicated to creating some of the most natural and transparent and beautifully crafted cables that can be found at any price. He is generous with his time and...” --drez
“ A while ago, I bought some DIY cabling from Los Angeles-based plusSound Audio and loved the immediacy of their customer service. Being a native Angelino, I also wanted to support SoCal businesses as well, so I decided to check out their Exo series cable. plusSound Audio specializes as a bespoke, handmade, full-service boutique cable service, and the Exo is one of six different...” --tomscy2000
“ I'm not big into cables making a huge difference. I feel like, more than any element of audiophilia, the differences can easily be mental and not really there. However, I feel like this cable really brought out the best in my 650s. The thickness and durability is great and I love that I bought a lengthy cable. It might not be worth it to everyone, but it was for me. No regrets. ” --jchandler3
“ Overview: Heir Audio’s Magnus 1 is a superbly built upgrade cable for custom in-ear monitors. The cable itself is strengthened with kevlar, and both the connectors for the earphones themselves and the jack are much more strongly built than the stock ciem cable. Unlike other upgrade cables, however, the Magnus 1 is just as comfortable and easy to wear and store as the stock. Sound improves...” --Kunlun
“ 93spec pure silver CIEM cable Premium cables - probably the single most controversial category in audio, unless we count some of the more dubious "tweaks" out there like magic rocks and green CD pens. But only a very small contingency of folks actually believe in those types of things - upgraded cables are far more mainstream. It's...” --project86
Crystal uses a unique silver and gold combination which helps deliver better sound and signals. The very pure silver Crystal uses has a crystal structure. That means by solidification of the metal, you get round-shaped crystal boundaries touching each other, buy having "bad places" where they don't touch. These bad gaps are filled/injected with gold, which is the only metal...
“ ******************************************************************************************************************************* Intro I recently received a loaner Audez’e LCD-3 headphone, which is most probably the best-sounding headphone I’ve ever heard (you can see how it fared in a recent comparison I did here). However, with the stock cable elements of recordings sounded a...” --Windsor
