Pros: Price performance ratio,

Cons: Not as good as the older versions, needs good amping.

Ok, so I only spent 3 euros on these at a flea market. The catch was that the original stereo plug had been replaced and botched (all the cables were in the wrong place), so I had to re-solder them. After 10 minutes they were good as new(ish).

The sound is mostly neutral, mostly natural but quite analytical.

It the bass rolls off a little early.

Some sounds may have a slight 'plastic' quality to the timbre though.

Soundstage is pleasing with fairly good instrument separation.

If these didn't require amping they'd be a lot more popular as a starter headphone.

that was quite a bargain for a good headphone.
