A closed-back Audeze? Yes. And, yes, it's a planar magnetic design. I got a chance to take a look at one of Audeze's closed back prototypes. Actually, they’re more of a “proof of concept” at this point. As these are still in the "proof of concept" stage, only a few exist. If they do become a reality, look for a release mid next year (2013).
