Those are some very robust looking interconnects. Also glad to see the cable is rubber and not fabric-wrapped (a little pet peeve of mine).

I really don't understand how they can associate those headphones with the word "artisan". Disharmonious & industrial-looking is what comes to mind...

@Ahzari, I really like this headphone, and will say more about it after more time with it.
@MuppetFace, the 10-foot audio-only cable is fabric cover, and seems similar to the AH-D7000 cable.

probably they mean "unevenly stitched and padded".
By looks, these fall behind the K702's, never mind the K1000's, HD800's, and LCD-2's. Hopefully they sound better than they look. I'm sure they'll have more bass, anyway.
