Jack is a stock Switcraft guy. Unscrew the ring from the outside and it pops right out.

Mini tank battle! Used mini-XLR plugs to help align properly while gluing.

26awg UPOCC copper in clear teflon replaces stock wire. Had no trouble switching out wires.

Sugru plugs to fill stock jack hole and my "bass port." Will move to epoxy putty at later date so I can sand it down flush.

FraGGleR, that is some seriously COOL work on the XLR Jack mod. BTW been enjoying your work in the DIY Cable Gallery, but I had to give you a thumbs up on this!
