I did never had a chance to hear any of the V-Moda products (a M80 here where i live is charged as much as 400-500 bucks),but for my tastes ,the build quality and the design are a completely win,i wish i could have a pair of M100 with a HD650 sound,my perfect headphone.Nonetheless many says the M100 wil sound good....Awaiting to hear some impressions...there is always room for a new pair,wallets allowing!

I have the m80s in Shadow and i was thinkin about getting the m100s in white but that matte black does look super ballin tho.

With all the movement around the hinge, I wonder how paint chipping is being prevented? I ordered white, so I don't expect it to be an issue with stainless, uncoated hinges.

The cable does SO much for this color. I never even thought about getting the matte black but they look gorgeous with that orange cable.

Mr. Kolton has hinted that the color of the orange cable (or the nature of some extra included with the matte-black iteration of the M-100) was based on your suggestion. Do you feel comfortable telling us what that suggestion might have been?
