That's the setup I run almost everyday. I like my 9's so much I bought two; one for home, and one for everywhere but home.

Good to know, I might see if I can pick up a UE900 cable so I can have a blue cable on my SE215

I have a third-party silver cable for my SE535 and it works fine on the UE900.

The PHA-1's battery life seems to be too short as portable dac, just a few hours... ( read from sony japan website )

They look fantastic, well built, extremely well designed. Thank you for sharing the photos. At $400, they seem like a steal if they sound anywhere...

  • Sep 22, 2012 by InRainbows in Ultimate Ears UE900 In-Ear Monitors (Unboxing Photos)
the cable on these looks sorta cheaphopefully its the opposite and lasts more.
  • Sep 21, 2012 by Audiophilester in Ultimate Ears UE900 In-Ear Monitors (Unboxing Photos)
Are these the same connectors that Shure uses?
  • Sep 21, 2012 by boltactionHOBO7 in Ultimate Ears UE900 In-Ear Monitors (Unboxing Photos)
What is the output impedance on the PHA-1? Is it less than 1 Ohm. I'd hope so or its fail for sensitive IEMs....

Ultimate Ears UE900 In-Ear Monitors (Unboxing Photos)

I heard these in their pre-production form, and now in their production version. Without a doubt, to my ears, the UE900 ($399.99) is one of the best universal-fit IEMs I've heard.

Ultimate Ears UE900 carrying case. This is a gloss-black case with a very nice hinged lid and magnetic closure. So far, I'm very happy with this case, and haven't had any accidental openings in my backpack.

Cool. nice colors and accessories.
Miilo 9/20/12 at 2:54pm
Looks great. How do these compare to the TF10?
graphidz 9/20/12 at 2:56pm
With the Sony amp too
Keller1 9/20/12 at 3:33pm
those are gorgeous. 'sepcially the cables.
khoi14021993 9/20/12 at 6:27pm
price?
jude 9/20/12 at 6:44pm
@Miilo, to me, the UE900 is a big upgrade over the TF10, and I've always liked the TF10 (but I never liked the TF10's shape). It's an upgrade in terms of tonal balance (more neutral), overall sound (significantly more resolving), and form factor (more comfortable, and the UE900's earpieces fit much more nicely in the ears).
@khoi14021993, the price is $399.99. I've now put the price in the gallery's description, so thank you for asking.
songmic 9/20/12 at 6:53pm
I see you also have Sony's new DAC/amp for the iPhone. How is it? Also does it match well with the UE900?
gerbi 9/20/12 at 7:08pm
And again, here in Australia, they are priced at $599!! I know where I'm going to order my pair from...
sneaglebob 9/20/12 at 7:46pm

peaceful1 9/20/12 at 9:12pm

I had the same question as Miilo said but my actual question is TF10 can be bought for 167$ these days is thsi one worths that much more or better to say is now TF10 a value choice
thanks in advanced
Chikuwa270 9/20/12 at 10:06pm

Audiophilester 9/21/12 at 6:48pm

slawterjoe 9/21/12 at 11:33pm
