hmm, i think the emm dac-2 sounds pretty good using asynch USB with RSA alethias digital master USB cable, 256k mp3/apple lossless, and cannot tell difference with battery powered vs. plugged in laptop or using different power schemes...

Are you sure we are talking about the same adapter? I didn't pay near that price either.

2nd batch will have a red digital volt display with adjustment so you can change it for a particular tube. Metal is being made next week.
