Hi all   I have an iPod Classic 160GB which I bought at the beginning of the year.  At the time, I did not think there were too many other options for high capacity devices.  But it would seem that either new options have hit the market since then, or that I simply did not look hard enough!   It was the Fiio line of DAPs which first brought my attention to other large capacity DAP options.  Especially the new X1.   So I wondered what the competition is?  What other...
Thanks for the answers regarding drag and drop.  That's what I imagined but I wasn't certain.  I'm guessing that you can therefore organise the library on the X1 by folder (like you can in Foobar2000), as well as the usual Artist, album, genre, etc?     Is the same true of the X5 (drag and drop?  Organise by folder?)   Oh, and with regard my other question, to satisfy my curiosity further, when were the X3 and X5 released?     Cheers.  And hope you're all enjoying...
Hi all   I am new to the party and - to my shame - have only just heard about the Fiio DAPs.  To be totally honest, I thought that for large capacity storage the iPod Classic was the only option.  To be fair, I looked into it a couple of years ago.  If I remember right, the only other option at the time was a Cowon.  Anyhow, to satisfy my curiosity, can anyone tell me...  are DAPs such as the Fiio range relatively new to the market?  Did I miss them a couple of years ago...
Anyone got any thoughts on these questions? Cheers
Hi all   I was hoping to read the entire thread but gave up at around p.35 and jumped to the last 10 pages...     Just got a few questions if anyone would mind putting me straight?   1.  Will a RB'd iPod work as normal on docking stations? 2.  How do playlists work on a RB'd iPod?  What playlists can it use? 3.  Does RB offer an equivalent to Smart Playlists?   4.  Are there any bugs/issues with the latest RB for 160gb Classic?   Many thanks   Max
Sorry for late reply - PM on the way with Iron Maiden stuff....

Hi   What length are you after?  And would you be happy to purchase from someone in the UK?  Let me know a length first and I can see if I have anything.....   Cheers   Max
Hi all Just bought a Lavry DA10 which came with this cable. Don't have a need for the cable so here it is for sale. I've been told that the Lavry and cable only saw a few hours of use from the previous owner. It's seen zero hours from me!!! Flashback site says: "For connecting a Lavry DA10 DAC fitted with male XLR connectors to a Naim amp, fitted with a 5 pin ring locking Din input socket." Get in touch for pics and references. £20 delivered in the UK. ...
