I've ABX'd all kinds of clips with Lame -V2 vs. lossless and have never been able to consistently tell the difference. I think the best I could ever muster in 14 attempts was correctly identifying the MP3 9 times, and most of the time...

Haven't heard the RS-2, but I A/B'd the MS2 and RS1 and preferred the MS2 by a significant margin. So yeah, I'd have to disagree with HiWire and say the MS2 is definitely at least "in the same league" as the RS-2.

No grandfathering clause eh? Darn. At this rate I should be a supremus by 2050 A.D.

Get the MS2's instead? I'll be honest I've never heard the SR325, but I do prefer the MS2 to the RS1.
