Well, I just did it, I placed an order for the WA6+Sophia, and a bunch of tubes from Ebay. Nothing quite feels as satisfactory as financial ruiniation Now for the wait. And ramen.
Well, cr@p. I'm looking to upgrade to a tube amp and decided to read this thread all the way through first, but I can almost not keep up  Perhaps I should just order that WA6 with the Sophia cause I know I want one anyway...   Two questions: 1. Any other Europeans have experience ordering from Woo Audio? How long did it take, and did you have to pay import duties? 2. Anyone compare the WA6 to a Corda Arietta? I'm hoping for more clarity, wider soundstage, more...
Same here. Used to listen to a lot of stuff like Ayreon and Arena, loads of related side projects like Nolan&Wakeman - Jabberwocky. Can't stand it anymore though :D. Ayreon lasted only weeks. It's just too much. In fact, I don't listen to many Pink Floyd albums that often for the same reason, but when I do I find no cheese in those.
Wow, nosing around I see this place has turned into a 99% DAC centric area in the past year. Guess I need to look for a different audio forum then...

My total satisfaction audio wise has kept me from the forums for while. However, lately the wiring on my Dual 505 started giving out. Since for some reason summer means vinyl, also the limitation of the om10 needle started to bug me. So it started, I bought an om20 needle last weekend, and I found a great deal on a P3 (250 euros, all set up). Listening to this kit right now with Getz & Gilberto on the platter has me right back in bliss :) However, there is a question in...

Camera bodies are a matter of taste anyway, too many arguments either way. So to get back to this simpler question, everybody needs a 50, especially if they turn 50 , and a...
