The roll-off goes away when loaded with higher impedance headphones and amp, there is no roll off from the line out.

I would stay with iTunes on a Mac and convert the Flac files to ALAC with MAX. I say iTunes because I'm not sure if the other players get bit-perfect playback while iTunes definitely does.

I hope it doesn't look stupid like the second picture, I was planning on switching to AT&T for the 3G iPhone after the summer, so it better not disappoint.

What setup did you use to measure the frequency response? I ask because everyone measurement is different than others due to equipment, some have the 5G coming up on top while others have the Classic being the better DAP.
