Right now the Sennheiser HD-280 are looking good, it's about the only headphones that are good and can buy them locally. oops, changed my mind again, looks like the Audio-Technica AD-500s have better base.

Deciding between Sony MDR-XD400 ($63), EQUATION AUDIO RP-21 ($100?), Sennheiser HD-280 ($84) and Garbo SR80s ($$$). Will use the headphones on my Onkyo HT-R640 receiver, for New age/Classical music, cable TV and DVD movies.
