Amazon.com: Gershwin: Piano Concerto in F / Rhapsody in Blue / Cuban Overture: Kenneth Grant, George Gershwin, Jeff Tyzik, Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, Jon Nakamatsu: Music
Jon Nakamatsu. There is an SACD of it. Sounds great. I have seen the guy in concert 2x and he is amazing . The first time I saw him, I was wanted to hear him play Rhapsody in Blue. Then I found the CD for sale after the show.
Tommy Emmanuel - Only is HDCD. It says so right on the cover!
Explosions in the Sky reminds me of classical movement. Longer, instrumental pieces that have all kinds of emotion.
Rachmaninov. Also, Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue has some fast and furious piano moments. I like the RCA living stereo of this best.
The only track I don't particularly care for is Silver. It just doesn't seem to fit and drags on a bit. Otherwise, GREAT album. If you haven't heard already, this will be one of the full album downloads available on Rockband! I may...
If you are near a Costco, they may have Simon and Garfunkel - The Columbia Studio Recordings 1964 -1970 for $20. Not bad for 5 CDs. The local Costco did, but I don't think all Costco's carry the same CDs'.
In LAME I have started using -V0 --vbr-new instead of -b 320. Smaller files and I don't hear a difference in quality on my headphones, home rig, or car stereo.
Oh yes - Song 2 by Blur is a GREAT happy song! I have to also add One Mint Julep - Ray Charles. Great fun in that song!!!
Landslide - Smashing Pumpkins Martha - Tom Waits Time After Time - Cyndi Lauper (either the older version or newer one with Sarah McLaughlin) Comfortably Numb - Pink Floyd
