Why don't you put the EQ after Isone Pro? It looks like you're EQing to compensate for the headphones. Therefore you should have it right before your headphones, as if the EQ was in the headphones. Putting it before Isone makes Isone...
It's too bad they turned the bass up to the max for the tests. It would have been more useful if they tested them at their flattest response, whatever that would be.

I feel like the 2.1 doesn't really have deep bass. There's just a huge midbass hump that never goes away even if the "subwoofer" is turned all the way down.

I use a Pelikan M600 most of the time. I also have a M100 (in white; I got it because it reminded me of stormtroopers in Star Wars). I also use a Waterman Phileas often because it writes drier, which is better for some situations.
