-You can take your stuff and leave at any time. You just have to go out the back. -Their policy is not to allow photography, but since it is part of the meet tradition, I think it should be ok. Try not to take photos in the rest of the museum though.
the space we are in is not very good acoustically:  that's the one!
There will likely just be staff at the backdoor to help everyone get signed in. Loading happens in an air-lock. A garage door opens, you load your stuff into a small room, then once the outer door is closed, an inner door is opened and you can bring your stuff into the museum. The interior of the museum is not allowed to be open to the elements at any time. The room we are in is mere feet from this rear door - security will guide you. I will be at Skillet on Union Street...
If you will be bringing gear, you will need to check in with security in the rear. if you're just hagin, come in through the front. Yes, later arrivals will still need to go in through the back if you are bringing gear. Security will be ready to receive us all day sunday.
I would be very interested in trying these!
Hi everyone I'm going to post some logistical info on behalf of Big Poppa. My connection to the event is that I am an exhibiting artist at the Frye Museum, and when I was asked what kind of public programing I would like to do, I thought of you guys.  The meet will be held inside my show at the museum.   Arrival: Everyone bringing equipment (from boxes to just a backpack) will need to check in at the security desk and enter through the rear entrance in the alley. This...

wow, the goldpoint is such a simple design! any idea if these ever come up on the secondary market?? could be a fun and simple DIY project...
So I have a question for everyone running active monitors: How are you controlling volume? Personally, I've been running BM5A mkII's off an Apogee Duet for a while now, but the duet is starting to crap out, and I need to replace it.  I've had some real trouble finding a suitable dac with preamp capabilities.   So far, I've found the following: Benchmark dac1 pre Burson 160d Lavry da 10 and 11 a few Grace designs   I would love to be able to...
i will be there.   i will probably bring my Emmaline XP-7 and HD650's - want to listen to some dacs.   i recently picked up a pair of Dynaudio BM5A mkII's. if anyone is interested after friday night setup, you could swing by my house to listen to them (im just 3 miles east of front panel).  im assuming most will want to attend the after-meet on friday.  idk pm me if you're down.
