I trialed them once for two weeks. They were OK but not great. You have to plug them into a source so you need a TV/Video/DVD player nearby. If you want to play console games it was good but obviously it is only a one player experience so that is a little limiting. I wear spectacles and there was no problem there, I was surprised at how comfortable they were. At the end of the day, for me, they just weren't good enough to justify the cost.
Has anybody heard anymore about this amp? I thought it was sheduled for a February release.
I have one as a second system which is in my living room where we spend most of our time. I think the choice is pretty much space based. When I actually want to sit down and listen to music I use my main system which is in a different room. This card has optical in and out and is not particularly expensive in the UK. It can be used with the optical in on a minidisc player, I have converted my colleages to Minidisc as MP3s are OK on LP2. Dear Vij New 580's are available from the site below at a very good price. I'm not sure about shipping to the US but I have used them in the UK and they are OK. http://www.superfi.co.uk/ Good luck in your search. I like my 600s but 580s are pretty compeling at this price.

I have been told there is and Audio Alchemy headphone Amp for sale locally but I didn't know they made such a thing. Has anybody ever seen or heard of this product?
This looks a cool Amp, I'd certainly like to hear it. What about the rest of their equipment ha anybody ever heard it?
