I just found a pair of these and thought they'd be just garbage.  However, I decided to give them a fair chance and plugged them into my Cowon D2 and I was fairly surprised: These are WAY better than other SkullCandy products I've happened to listen to in the past.  The best sub $20 IEMs I've listened to.  The build, shape & sound reminds me somewhat of the V-Moda Vibes (toned-down version).  If the Vibes are a 10, these deliver about 7.5/10 of the Vibe...
FITTING THAT THIS "LOUDEST" THREAD IS IN ALL CAPS.   YOU ALSO MIGHT CONSIDER THE SOURCE FACTOR.  COWON D2 AND OTHER COWONS ARE KNOW AS SOME ONE OF THE MORE POWERFUL PORTABLE NON-AMPED PLAYERS.

Just need to buy one side (left) to replace monitor/housing unit for my Superfi 5 Pros. Please post or send me a PM if you have one of these.
Just need to buy one driver for my ATH-ES7 headphones. Please post or send me a PM if you have one of these.
The female portion of the jack (where the cable plugs into the earphone) came out of the housing of one side of the earphones. It looks like the female jack just needs to be glued or secured back into the earphone as well as ensuring the 2 conductors are connected from the jack to appropriate contacts inside the earphone. Has anyone tried to do this themself or know of a link to a thread or resource that might show how to do this repair? There's no obvious easy...
This mod really improved the comfort of the phones for me. This was a pleasant surprise, as I mainly did the mod to improve the looks and so they'd conform to my head better. Excellent. It does almost feel like the manufacturer meant for the user to do this -- they should put this in the user manual under "customizing your phones via bending" heh
3X0, imho you have provided one of the best bang for the buck mods on this site. (ie a mod that can be done in under 2 minutes and results in big improvements)
I didn't mean to rain on this parade though, of course this is just one listener's op -- as always the best bet is to listen to them. If you have an Apple store near you, you can buy them & return in 2 weeks with nothing lost except time.
