I voted a reluctant B. And my reasoning is strictly from the computer (DATA) side of the discussion. While audio CDs go back to the mid '80s, computer CDs started taking off around '90. I still have some of those early discs (audio and data). I also have drives from as far back as the 2x days. Rsaavedra and Chillysalsa's comments are the most applicable. On any given disc produced, there are an EXACT number of 1's and 0's on that disk. Once they are on the disk,...
I voted E for Earwax's breakdown. Pretty much lays it out. one more brick in your wall........

While I would agree with you that tape is probably not the best method for this application, unless someone gives you the drive. As far as the "after a year of use", that is...

No Outside = Good thing. Not having Outside leaves more time of discussing the merits of country music and convincing myself that I really do need to build that headphone amp that I have most of the parts for. I made more friends and fewer enemies in the other forums. I especially like the more friends part. So long Outside, and thanks for the memories and the few friends I have left! Anybody know when Weird Al's next album is comming out?

Last I heard, Jude was the only one who can authorize that. The only case of it happening that I know of was with Trawlerman, who originally went by "Kevlar". DuPont's overpaid lawyers had nothing better to do than threaten him with a lawsuit if he didn't get it changed. Seems head-fi started getting returns on Google searches and you can guess what whas turning up when "kevlar" was entered. You guessed it: some of the best audio advice on the internet! And to...
