Did it today - had a little trouble initially feeding my wires through the holes - quite fiddly! Got there eventually, works fine now! Thanks!!
yeah i have figured it, will i be better to go for a plastic or metal replacement jack?
ah now that i have opened it up i see, it needs to be seperated from the audio channels, got it, thanks for your help everyone!
Where is the shielding wire though, obviously right and left audio but what about the shilding bit?
Its definately the headphones, i have tried numerous headphones in that player and they are all fine, and my etys have the same problem plugged into the computer Is it hard to replace the mini stereo jack?
My Ety's are sorta on their way out i think. When i have them plugged into my source i can mostly only hear sound from 1 ear. If i fiddle with the jack then i can eventually get it to work properly in both ears but if i move positions...

I have had my ety er-6i's for a while now and the tri flanges are starting to get dirty, and i was just wondering whats the best way of cleaning the tips?
