Finally received my Koss Pro DJ100 yesterday after a month long wait. They sound amazing. I can understand why some people say they lack bass, and I love them for not buying to the "bass equals quality" BS you'll find on mainstream headphones like Beats that enhance bass for the boomboom crowd. They were more than $80 everywhere I looked but found them backordered for $45 on computervalley.ca. Came up to ~$75 with taxes and shipping. A big step up from the dollarstore...
The more I shop the more I realize how we're getting screwed in Canada. M30s go for $70, DJ100 $80 and CAL! $90-130  :/

I have been shopping around for the past 2 weeks for a good set of budget headphones for the office. As such it would have to be closed back; I can't stand in-ear. Leaking is an issue, sound isolation is not; it is a quiet office and hearing people talking to me would be more a boon than a curse, but that is not a criteria. Source will be iPod and onboard PC audio. I listen mostly to power/symphonic metal music. I received a set of way overpaid Wicked Hero headphones for...
