Thanks for that.   I tried it with my partner's laptop and while my computer is switched off, there is no buzzing sound at all.   What can I do about this grounding problem? Is there something I can do to shield the WA6SE from the PSU?   Also why would the 6FD7 be more prone to interference?
Greetings,   I recently purchased a WA6SE with stock tubes. I didn't have any money left so I was running it through my ASUS Xonar Essence ST which does the job alright. However I've noticed there is a lot of electrical noise through my headphones (HD800) when I'm gaming but is perfectly fine when I'm not gaming. The noise became even worse when I swapped stock tubes with Philco 6FD7 fat bottles.   I suspect the electrical noise was generated from the graphics...
Sound quality: 1. Sennheiser HD800 2. AKG K550 3. Sennheiser HD600   Comfort: 1. Audio Technica AD700 2. Sennheiser HD800 3. Sennheiser HD600
Perfect! That's how I'll phrase it :)
I prefer not to lie about it :/
Yeah, I bought these last month.   But if they do ask, I'll tell them what had happened.   I do expect them to repair my headphone under warranty regardless of how they were damaged, but wondered if they will do so knowing the circumstances of how it was damaged.   From my point of view, a small drop (but dropped nontheless) causing such a serious problem indicates poor quality control on Beyerdynamic's part.
"What did you do when this happened?" "I dropped it" "No warranty"   ?
Today, my Beyerdynamic DT 770 Pro LE fell off my coffee table and onto the floor. When I put these headphones back on, the right channel had lost its body - very thin sounding and unable to hear the bass at all below 100hz.   This strikes me really odd because the drop wasn't even more than half a meter, and I've dropped many headphones at greater heights without any noticeable issues.   Do you guys think it's worthwhile to ask to repair this headphone under...
Thanks everyone. I will continue with my original plan then :)   Have a Happy NYE!
Greetings, after all the crawling through threads here for the past couple of weeks, I'm ready to ask my first question. First of all, I don't consider myself an audiophile, but just someone who understands some technical stuff and am looking for the ultimate sound setup.    In the past I've owned these headphones: AD700, M50S, HD650, Brainwavz HM5 and my current favourites are the Beyerdynamic DT770Pro LE for movies and AKG K550 for music listening. I run the...
