I'm looking for speakers for my computer for general use. My Logitech speakers are broken.   Ideally i want to spend €100, i can go upto €150 if it's a really good deal.   Currently looking at: 1) Numark NPM5   2) Edifier Rt600T 3) Creative Gigaworks T40   Because i have limited space, i need speakers with a built-in subwoofer and not too huge speakers either.   I have a Asus Xonar DG soundcard.   Most people here would recommend Dayton B652s, but i haven't...
I currently have the HD598 plugged into my Xonar DG. Would the Modi make any significant difference?
Currently it's FLAC>Foobar2000>Asus Xonar DG>Sennehiser HD598
I have the same question. I've got my HD598s for 2 days now and i wonder if a DAC or amp under 80 euro would make any significant difference.
Save money for a better headphone/amp/whatever. The cable should be your last upgrade.
Those are on-ear, right? I have an on-ear model once, they weren't comfortable at all. Are the hd25's comfortable? Also, out of the 3 headphones in my original post, which one would you choose and why?
Help me please. Do the HD598s handle rock/heavy metal well? I've heard they're too neutral for metal.
I am looking for headphones for rock/metal with a budget of 180 euro. Some bands are Metallica, Iron Maiden and Megadeth. I am new in the audiophile world so it's hard to describe/decide what i want. On one hand, i think i'd like something aggressive (especially for Metallica, just listen to Master of Puppets). I know Grado is aggressive, but i want something comfortable for long sessions. I think i want something with good sound stage so i can follow every instrument...
Looking for headphones for hard rock/metal. A few example of bands i listen to: Megadeth, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Judas Priest... I have a budget of 150 euro max, buying from amazon.de or ebay, unless someone knows any better European store. I want good sound stage. Pretty much everything is important because metal songs are complex. My setup is FLAC>Asus Xonar DG, i'll add a Fiio E7 soon.   Currently considering: -AKG K240 MKII -Beyerdynamic...
