I'm very inexperienced with EQ. I decided on this app from a lot of reccomendations on here and from friends and reviews. But i do not know what to do for EQ.   Maybe if you post your settings here so i can adjust mine on my device and see if i like them. Or if you have settings for different genres that would be nice as well.   Thanks in advance for the help everyone.   Also anyone know if the Klipsch S4A controls will work with Neutron? Or with my Galaxy S2...
Anyone opinions on this. Thinking about switching my portable music playing over to my phone for space saving purposes. Need to know a good app to use. Free or paid is ok.
Will the Klipsch Image X5 IEMs be a significant sound quality boost from my Shure SE215's?   I can get pair of Klipsch Image X5's for a $130. I want to know if they will be a significant sound quality boost over my Shure SE215's that I paid $80 for? Are they worth the money?   I listen to all genres of music and am capable of enjoying flat or warm sounding signatures.

Will a line out to aux cable for a Walkman, for example fido l5, improve audio quality on my speaker dock that I hook my Walkman up to with aux?
thanks for the suggestion but rap and hip hop are what i listen to least.
Alright. My budget is $120CDN (Canadian dollars). My source is a Sony Walkman MP3 player Model# NWZ-S545, un-amped (although i might invest in a Fiio E7 for home use primarily and possibly portable use). I listen to all varieties of music with the least frequent being rap and hip hop and the most frequent being rock, metal, blues, orchestral, and soundtrack stuff. I'd prefer a more even, detailed sound. I am also investing in a pair of SRH940'2 from Shure if that helps...
Yeah you are right it does not make a lot of sense. So the 940s are still worth it at $180. Would the fiio E7 be a good enough amp for the 940s?   Thanks for the help. and yeah accurate is definitely most important to me.
Sorry for the late follow up guys. Been working a lot the last couple days. Thanks for the answers so far.   Would and how would the 940s benefit from an amp. A Fiio E7 for example.  They are for listening on my laptop. Oh and i found out my discount on the 940s isn't as great anymore. They would now cost me $180, same as the M50s in Canada.   Again I listen to most every genre. The ones i least listen to being rap and hip hop. I also listen to video game...
I am looking into some decent headphones in the $150cdn range that will get me good sound being plugged right into my laptop (HP g4-1167ca) or Sony mp3 walkman (NWZ-S545). POff the top of my head 2 choices i currently have are the Audio Technica ATH-M50 or the Shure SRH940.   I am not an expert audiophile by any means but I can tell the difference between good and bad. I am expanding my knowledge on audio day by day.   Of those 2 options which do you think is...
