I was one of the first to have bought these when they first came out (that I was aware of on Head-Fi). I absolutely adored them EXCEPT for one personal issue I had with them. It might be the shape of my ears or the type of glasses I wear but the pressure exerted on the top of my ear caused the top of my hear to ache. I can't really blame the P5s for this, it's just what comes with the territory with these types of headphones and my ears+glasses combination (these are...
Just an update (long overdue), after a week and a half with the P5s, I've come to the conclusion that while they sound quite good, being a eyeglass wearer is not a good match for the P5s. They simply clamp down on the tops of my ears too much which causes aching after about 15-20 minutes. Back to IE 8s I go.

I want that ginormous Rice Krispy treat!

I do agree about the ridiculousness of Monster's cable business. I also do agree that the price of the Beats are overpriced at the $300 asking price BUT I would have to say that for that entire package, if it was say, $250, I think that would be a fair price. What I don't agree with are those comments that claim that the Beats are less phones than even a pair of Porta Pros because that's just simply untrue and quite ridiculous to tell you the truth As for joelpearce and...
