I think the price range for each of the categories should be determined. From observing the list: Entry ($1-$499) Mid-level ($500-$1499) High-end ($1500- ) Does this sound reasonble?
Love my good old Wilson ProStaff 6.0 95... too bad they're discontinued Looking for an alternative, anyone know a more recent racquet similar to the 6.0 95? For strings, I use Gosen OG-Sheep Micro 16 @ around 58lbs.

Decided to resurrect this thread because, now that I have purchased a PS Audio Digital Link III with balanced outputs, getting a balanced headphone amp has actually become a possible upgrade for me in the (hopefully) near-future. I'm still very interested in this amp especially because it seems like it can be a great "balanced" solution for the entry-level, or simply for the budget-minded, along with Little Dot's MKVI+ and MKVII. The next time I go back to Japan...
Congratulations on your purchase, slunk077. If anyone ever has a chance to visit Japan, I highly recommend "Dynamic Audio 5555" in Akihabara for true audiophile heaven. 7 floors worth of audio equipment. You can audition unbelievable amounts of gear, from headphones to 100k+ speakers. YUM
Hehe, I sure would love to, but my wallet is frowning... Besides, I first need to get a balanced DAC I actually was looking at CEC's new DAC, the DA53N (which is the successor of the highly acclaimed DA53) when rolled upon this headphone amp.
As an owner of the Sennheiser HD650s, I have always been on the lookout for relatively affordable (<$1000) balanced headphones amps.
