So after using this amp for about a month now, I found out it has a clip cutoff. On Direct It's fairly fine, but passing the signal through the treble, and bass filters, it cuts off fairly fast. I currently have the volume at 11 o'clock, and the treble, and bass filters at 3 o'clock... I am using 6" Panasonic 6 Ohm speakers...
Was going to get the AT2020 back when it was on sale for $60, but now it's back up to $100 or so... I have a Scarlett 2i2, so I prefer to have something non USB... Not looking for something amazing, though funny enough, anything will be better than my Peavey i100... I don't need a boom, but I will need a shock mount and a pop filter...   Was thinking about getting this, cause it's on sale...
I am actually in need of a RCA splitter now...   I have one of these, from way long ago, would this work?   http://s3.amazonaws.com/kpsurplus_images/d6c5c90356d92582ce1f9a7aee62ea8caf244e5a.jpg     I am plugging RCA from my Scarlett 2i2, into my amp, the my speakers, but I also need to connect my monitor speakers, to my Scarlett 2i2... So I need an adapter to split the signal... Or something like that switch box... I don't see why it wouldn't work...
Ya dude, it's a magical piece of hardware... Now I know why people talk about it so much :3   I'll make sure to post over there sometime today... I'll make a really convincing post ^^
Ya, I have $100 to throw around, so I'll def do that :3   So happy I got the Lepai ^^ Thanks everyone <3
My Lepai just came today, and it's amazing! I have the volume on the amp @ 10 o'clock, and it's already loud enough... These 6" Panasonic speakers have decent low end, but I could definitely use a dedicated sub...
Ya I was thinking that... I ordered the Lepai btw... I am going to use my Panasonic speakers for now, and see how they perform... If I don't like them I might either get the Dayton B652's, or the Monoprice 8250's...
I am using a Scarlett 2i2, and I love it, even though I am going to invest in an E5 for my headphones, cause the headphone out is just normal output, no higher... Imo actually some what low...
Today is the day I make a choice, of which to buy...   Still wondering if I can hook the Dayton 800 straight to my Scarlett 2i2, if not I'll just get the Lepai amp...
If I got this Dayton Audio Sub 1000, I could just hook my stereo speakers to it, then do RCA from the sub to my Scarlett 2i2 right?   http://www.amazon.com/Dayton-Audio-SUB-1000-Powered-Subwoofer/dp/B0063NU3AA/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1365080081&sr=1-2&keywords=dayton+audio+sub
