Brainwavz M5 – Maximum Energy!   The Brainwavz M5 is a fantastic budget IEM that I am very happy to recommend to all of my friends. The build quality is stellar, the design is gorgeous, and the sound signature is very fun and energetic. Is it the right IEM for you? Let's find out!   BUILD QUALITY:   The build quality of the M5 is worlds better than that of the M4. Brainwavz ditched the flimsy pipe-cleaner cable, and replaced it with a really thick, sturdy...
Thanks! I actually got them as a review sample from Brainwavz, but you can get them from amazon for about $40.
Big sound, small price.   The first thing that people notice about the Brainwavz M4 is that it has a very low price tag. As of this writing, they can be had for as low as $40. I was not expecting a whole lot from an IEM with such a low price, but Brainwavz taught me that good things can be had for very little.   Build Quality   The build of the M4 is phenomenal. I'm no headphone expert, but I recommend picking up an Audio Technica ATH-M50. They're only $150, and they sound fantastic. They'll also run directly out of a computer or iPod without the need of a headphone amp, which can get very expensive, very fast.    I'm a beginner, and the ATH-M50 blew me away, especially for having such a low price point.
