I'm getting a pair of ATH-M50's soon, but I don't know if I should get the straight or the coiled cable.  I'll use them at home for monitoring, but I'm also going to use them walking around such as at school and in the car.  I was thinking about getting the straight cable, but I think I'll have to tuck too much of the cable into my pocket when I'm walking around.
I want to buy a pair of ATH-M50.  I looked at the warranty for Audio Technica products on their website, but I have a few questions:   If the headphones blow out (a speaker stops working) during the 2-year period, will they replace it? If an external feature breaks on the headpones (ie a speaker cup falls off, cord breaks, etc.), will they replace it?       Thanks in advance!
This seems like the best price that's set-in-stone (not 'best offer' on eBay).
How do I enter the coupon code?
I'm pretty much set on the M50s
I want to buy some Audio-Technica ATH M50's.  What website has the cheapest, legit (not fake), headphone?
I've seen the Audio Technica ATH-M50's and I was planning on getting those, but it has been brought to my attention that I can get better headphones. I really want over-ear headphones, not in-ear on on-ear. I mainly listen to techno as well as indie rock every now and then. I want to get the best audio quality and overall headphone for less than or around $200 (I know it's not very much ). I'm more concerned with audio quality, but I also don't want to look like an...
I mainly listen to techno music and some classical rock every now and then. I'm debating on which headphones I should get, the M50's or the HD 598. They are both around the same price, so that's not really an obstacle. I mainly want really good audio quality. However, I know the HD 598's are open-backed. If I'm in a car, will the person sitting in the back seat be able to hear the music if I have them on? Just tell me which you think is better and why.
I live near Dallas, TX
I want to buy a pair of headphones soon, but I want to make sure I get the right pair.  Does anyone know of a store that sells and allows you to "demo" the headphones.  Like, for example, at Best Buy, they have headphones out that you can plug your MP3 player into and listen to them.  I want to demo the:   Sennheiser HD598 Audio-Technica M50
