schaqfu, Very nice.  I am really looking forward to hearing the HD-800.  Do you also have the regular cable for your HD-800, to be driven by single ended amps?
Hi Guys, Got my Beta22 working.  Any interest in a new Beta22 with hardly any hours on it or do we have enough of them.  Buffalo 1 or HD650 would hardly draw a crowd  I guess. With or without gear, I will be coming in any case.  I definitely want to hear an LCD-2 or a HD800   Regards, Dinesh
Hi Peete, Thanks a lot for the recommendation, it is now on the short list.   Do you have any opinion on other items on http://www.hsuresearch.com/products/hb-1.html My friend also went out to Best Buy and added these to the list, any opinions? Polk TSi 300 or TSI 400 Sony SSF-7000 /5000   Thanks, Dinesh
Hi Everybody, Over the weekend, I helped a friend setup his new Pioneer Elite 50 reciever and his old JBL 5.1 speakers.  I found the setup a little harsh and lacking in upper bass and mid.  Since then he has plans of buying a pair of speakers to swap out the main pair, for maybe around $400.  The sub is in a good shape and will be retained.    Any recommendations please?   Thanks, Dinesh
Guys, I am not sure if this question has been answered, at almost 50 pages on this thread, I guess it must have been. So please let me know how Comply T400 compares to the Foam tips supplied with Nuforce NE-7M. Well, I guess, the better question would be it is worth it to pay another $15 every quarter or so for the complys. What will make it worth it for me would be if the isolation, and comfort is better, while improving the SQ. Thanks, Dinesh
Hey Optional, Your vote led me to do more research and I just pulled the trigger on NE-7M. K_19, Thanks for the first vote.
Thanks Optional for a second vote on NuForce NE-7M. Nice to see $50 stuff is holding its own. We on Head-fi spend far too much on audio

Thanks Squirsier, that nixes this as an option. After reading your note, I went over to apple site and found Ultimate Ears...
BTW, UE claims isolation of 16db for UE Metro-Fi 220vi. That level of isolation is on the low side, I think.
K_19, Thanks for your recommendation, how much does the Shure Olive foams cost. Does it fit comfortably?. Phonak is around $160? I have seen a few very favourable threads on this here. It is on my shortlist.
