I briefly owned a ZO2, and I ran it from the headphone out of my DAP...on high gain it did nothing but distort the music and on low gain at the highest settings it was QUIETER than directly out of the headphone out...no idea why that...

I've been on the hunt for an amp for my fostex T50RP that I can use out of my DAP through the headphone out (line out is not an option), I have recently tried the digizoid ZO2.3 and the output out of that on high gain was insanely...

I'm looking into getting a portable headphone amp to power a set of modded T50RPs.   I do not own any audio players that have a line out, so they will be driven by a head-phone out. I'm also not looking to replace my audio...
