I've been looking for cheap IEMs to use for workout, I've owned a pair of HF5 for over a year and I love them. after reading some reviews on here I decided to go with JVC HA-FX101 and HA-FX40. While using them, I find the higher pitched notes very sharp and hurts my ears, almost as if they are cracking. I compared them against my Galaxy S3 stock headphones and even those are better. Is this because these JVC headphones are geared toward a different listening style? What's...
any chance you can measure your 558? I just need the inside vertical length of the ear cup   thanks!
Hi guys,   just recently purchased the beyer DT 770 Pro, been testing it for a week and I can't get used to the feel of having it on my head. I think it's partially due to my large ears... the top and bottom of the cup ridge is pressing against it, making it pretty uncomfortable for extended wear, thinking about trying out another headphones.    I looked at the Senheiser HD 598, it looks like it has a taller vertical cup size and people praised it for it's...

I've been using this IEM for a while now and the foam tips are starting to fall apart. Where can I get some replacements? I checked their official website, it's 15+shipping for 5 pairs, a bit expensive imo.    found these two on...

did a lot of research, it came down between these few...   1. Etymotic HF5 Best isolation, but I'm a bit worried about getting used to the deep insertion style on this, is it possible to get good seal without a deep insertion?   2. Brainwavz M2 cheaper alternative    3. Sennheiser IE6   4. Monster Turbine   5. Monster Turbine Pro Copper $130 used on Amazon... might not come with accessories though   6. Ultimate Ears 700 good...
I am interested in buying a pair of high end IEM. I've read the review on this website and it was a lot of help, but I am stuck on deciding between two models.    1. Etymotic HF5 2. Monster Turbine Pro Copper 3. other?   I listen to all kinds of music, not that big into the quality of the sound. I found both of them on eBay for around $120. I chose those two for the price, isolation and sound quality. The MTPC seems to be more comfortable because it doesn't...
