been looking around for a pair of cans that's large enough for my ears. The HD558/598 seem to have pretty large ear cups, I need something thats longer than 65mm vertically, pretty sure those 2 exceed it. I also happen to be a bit of a bass head, I play a lot of rhythm games so it's very helpful to be able to clearly hear the tremble and the beats. From what I read the Senn headphones are usually on the lighter side of things when it comes to bass. Question is, should I...
need some help with my on-going struggle for over the ear headphones, I've tried many over the years and kinda just gave up and turned to IEMs instead, think it's time for me to give it another shot. The most recent one I bought then sold was DT770, I sold it because it was uncomfortable to wear over long period of time.   I have a rather large head, and my ears are pretty big too, it's long vertically and pops out (?) a lot. The DT770 pressed against the top of my ear...
I've been looking for cheap IEMs to use for workout, I've owned a pair of HF5 for over a year and I love them. after reading some reviews on here I decided to go with JVC HA-FX101 and HA-FX40. While using them, I find the higher pitched notes very sharp and hurts my ears, almost as if they are cracking. I compared them against my Galaxy S3 stock headphones and even those are better. Is this because these JVC headphones are geared toward a different listening style? What's...
any chance you can measure your 558? I just need the inside vertical length of the ear cup   thanks!
Hi guys,   just recently purchased the beyer DT 770 Pro, been testing it for a week and I can't get used to the feel of having it on my head. I think it's partially due to my large ears... the top and bottom of the cup ridge is pressing against it, making it pretty uncomfortable for extended wear, thinking about trying out another headphones.    I looked at the Senheiser HD 598, it looks like it has a taller vertical cup size and people praised it for it's...
hmm yeah I'm leaning toward the DT770 right now, the ear cups look very comfortable and large. Think it's velvet or something?    $170 on ebay, woo

to my dismay, I woke up today finding out the right side of my HF5 dead. It's still within warranty so I'm gonna get it replaced. But the form on their website is down, is this recent or has it been like this for a while?     Thanks   nvm its back up
I've been using this IEM for a while now and the foam tips are starting to fall apart. Where can I get some replacements? I checked their official website, it's 15+shipping for 5 pairs, a bit expensive imo.    found these two on...
