Yeah, the line is as clean as possible. Just the channel 7+8 (for high res mode) to the headphones, no adapters or anything. But the thing is I don't see how it can be the source, as it happens on more than one... I will ahve to try it...
The AV-710 takes the burn ins, normally listen to my normal music a little louder on shuffle throughout the night, so it gets a full specrum of what I listen to.
I don't know what it could be, it has been baffling me... I am gonna try to send back my a500s if I can't fix this soon... a shame because I really liked them, but the balance being off really makes me angry.

I tried it with my Rio Karma, AV-710 and some AC97 onboard sound at school, with multiple songs/sounds, of course.
BTW, that rubbng Alcohol idea didn't work...
