Bump for some great headphones

Computer broke = time to sell the denons.   purchased at headroom in February 2010. Probably 150 hours of use. Perfect condition.        I still have the original pads and can put them back on....

Have you compared it to anything other than itunes?

anyone try to stretch out the ear holes? Have any luck?

I just put on the jmoney pads--it took less than 1 minute. I immediately prefer the sound. Tightens up the bass-exactly what I was looking for. The comfort, though, will take some getting used to. The smaller ear holes are not ideal...

After getting some more info it became clear to me that 6bl7 tubes are NOT appropriate for the mpx3. (not a smart risk) The good news is that a TS 2c51 and 2x 6gu7's also sounds absolutely fantastic with the denons.

It might actually hit 50 here tomorrow. If it does, I'm going to dust off my bike and head out for a ride.
