I wonder why no one has built a DSP-based device that reduces SNR, rolls off the high end, increases distorsion, and maybe adds a few random clicks for good measure to simulate the vinyl experience? Cheaper than buying modern...

The only real argument against objective testing is that it reveals subjective bias, and many seem to really need their subjective biases.

EQ Free doesn't work (or at least I am getting the same results as you) and doesn't seem to be supported. I'm not sure why it is even offered.
