Greetings everyone, its been a while since I posted to this blog, but some inspiration has hit me for today. As most of you know if you've read my previous blog entries, or even my profile info, I'm into metal in a pretty big way. I wouldn't go so far as to call myself a true metalhead, but I would dare to say that I'm very educated when it comes to a broad variety of Metal genres. From Grind to Death, Black to Doom, I probably own or have owned at one point at least one album from each genre....

Greetings fellow Head-fiers. Here we are on Christmas Eve, or the Eve of Yule for me and my fellow Asatruar, and I just wanted to wish everyone a pleasant and safe holiday, both today and tomorrow. Hopefully you will have finished all of your gift shopping before today (thus not contributing to the madness of retail I'll be seeing in about two hours) and you and your families will enjoy both the presents and the time you get to spend with one another this time of year.

Short holiday...

Hello head-fi, and welcome to another edition of Fresh Metal. Yesterday I left off with "Hybris" by Abusiveness, see here.

Today, I'll be starting off with a little doom metal and I'll wrap up with a taste of some death metal. Enjoy!

Hello head-fiers!

Let me start off this inaugural blog with a short introduction to the purpose of the Fresh Metal series I'll be writing. Regardless of how many people will read this, I plan to work my way through the collection of metal albums released in 2007 (and of course 2008 when they arrive) which are in my possession. I'll be starting with the A's, giving a fairly concise review, and moving on. Now, with that out of the way...On we go!
